Black Opium Eau de Toilette is a seductive and warm floral-fruity fragrance for women with sophisticated aromatic accents, launched in 2015 by the popular fashion house Yves Saint Laurent. The fragrance is a lighter, airy version of the Black Opium perfume released in 2014. For the new Black Opium blend, Yves Saint Laurent chose a blend of tart notes of blackcurrant and juicy honey pear flavor, adding refreshing citrus notes and a slight citrus bitterness of green mandarin zest to them. Tart jasmine, fragrant green tea and honey-spicy orange blossom are at the heart of the composition framed by the velvety aroma of coffee. As we approach the final chord, the coffee bean scent blends with creamy white musk accents and a blend of white wood scents, transforming the floral coffee of the original Black Opium into the lighter, greener coffee of the new version of the perfume. The overall design of the bottle remains unchanged, with the exception of rose gold accents that have appeared in its design.
